Wang Qi introduced the background and purpose of the special action, general situation of the university, and the advantages and characteristics of the colleges to participate in the negotiation and signing. He hoped to take this opportunity to achieve good relations of cooperation between colleges and enterprises. He hoped that the participating enterprises could expand employment opportunities for the graduates of the university, provide them with broader employment prospects and better development and treatment, to achieve the goal of better serving the local economy. At the same time, he also looked forward to in-depth cooperation between the two sides in local talent training, internship, order-type training mode, modern industrial college mode and other aspects.

The purpose of “special action for Secretary and President to visit enterprises and expand posts” highly accorded with the call of the country to carry out “three-year action for state-owned enterprise reform” and “innovation-driven development strategy”, and was an important measure to implement the “three major articles” of structural adjustment coordinated by the Provincial Party Committee. The principals of 7 state-owned enterprises under the Municipal SASAC and the principals of relevant colleges had in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on employment, internship, training, joint talent training, the establishment of industry-university-research breakthrough platform, scientific research achievement transformation platform and entrepreneurship and innovation platform. Finally, the representatives of School of Civil and Architectural Engineering, School of Automobile, School of Economics and Management, and School of Electrical Engineering signed a framework cooperation agreement with the corresponding enterprise representatives to jointly expand the employment opportunities for graduates and promote the industry-university-research cooperation comprehensively.
